From January to July 9.1 million people have been reached with health assistance out of 15.8 million people targeted. For July the number of people reached was 1.3 million. Over 19.7 million people live in 147 districts prioritized for cholera response. The provision of health assistance continues to be challenged by the fact that only 51% of health facilities are fully functional and the irregular payments of salaries to health staff.
